Muitos dos temas aqui incluídos representam o melhor do Rock’ n’ Roll nos seus inícios, mas alguns, são daqueles que não aparecem todos os dias, ou melhor, não estão incluídos na grande maioria das colectâneas do género. São os casos de Jack Scott “My True Love”, The Turbans “When You Dance”, Danny & The Juniors “Rock And Roll Is Here To Stay”, The Cookies “Chains”, The Five Satins “In The Still Of The Night” e os Jewel Akens “The Birds And The Bees”.
Mas, contradizendo um pouco o título desta colectânea, nem todos os temas são da década de 50, como facilmente se comprova pela inclusão de “Los Bravos- Black Is Black” de 1966, “Tom Jones- It’s Not Unusual” de 1965, “The Zombies- She’s Not There” de 1964 e Dusty Springfield “You Don’t Have To Say You Love” de 1966. Mas o que todos têm em comum, e, de mais valia, não será apenas pela criteriosa escolha, mas sim (e também) porque todos eles foram remasterizados para uma melhor definição e “igualdade” sonora.
